Hen's Teeth is Sam Beam's eighth full-length album and his sixth for Sub Pop. Recorded during the same Laurel Canyon sessions as 2024's Light Verse, it's the earthier, darker, more tactile of the two — nodding to everything from Dock Boggs to Simon & Garfunkel to Tropicalia. The indie-country trio I'm With Her appears on lead single "Robin's Egg" and the tender "Wait Up," and Beam's daughter Arden contributes harmonies across three tracks.
