The coupling of star trombonist Kai Winding with the best country and western songs, old and new, makes for a wonderfully melodic set. Winding and producer Creed Taylor recorded the album in Nashville, turning standards like "I Walk the Line" and "Busted" into smooth, swinging instrumentals with help from the Anita Kerr Singers.
