Released in 1972, Sailin' Shoes was the second studio album from Little Feat's founding quartet of singer-guitarist Lowell George, drummer Richard Hayward, keyboard player Bill Payne and bassist Roy Estrada, produced by Ted Templeman with cover art by illustrator Neon Park. This Deluxe Edition opens with a newly remastered version of the original album and adds previously unreleased studio outtakes and rarities, plus a newly discovered complete show recorded at the Palladium in Los Angeles on August 28, 1971 — the only multi-track recording featuring the band's original lineup. Includes illustrated liner notes by David Fricke.
