Produced by multi-Grammy winner Vance Powell and Bill Payne, the album features special guests Molly Tuttle, Larry Campbell, Teresa Williams and Larkin Poe. "Bluegrass Pines" was co-written by Payne and Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter, and the title track features Larkin Poe on guest vocals.
