Organist Ronnie Foster made his Blue Note debut with the 1972 jazz-funk classic Two Headed Freap, produced by George Butler. The vibrant eight-song set includes funky covers of Al Green, Wilson Pickett and Joe Simon alongside five originals — among them the propulsive opener "Chunky," the breezy "Summer Song," and "Mystic Brew," later sampled by A Tribe Called Quest on "Electric Relaxation." This Classic Vinyl edition is stereo, all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes and pressed at Optimal.
