Recorded at Oberlin College in Ohio in 1953, the Dave Brubeck Quartet's Jazz at Oberlin is one of the earliest cornerstones of cool jazz. Alongside Brubeck on piano, it features Paul Desmond on alto sax, Lloyd Davis on drums and Ron Crotty on bass. This Original Jazz Classics edition is pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI with all-analog mastering from the original tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio, presented in a tip-on jacket.
