Van Morrison - Moondance - Analogue Productions 45rpm LP
180g 45 RPM Double LP — Analogue Productions
Hailed as one of the greatest albums of all time, Van Morrison's Moondance was an immediate commercial success on its February 1970 release. Abandoning the abstract folk-jazz of Astral Weeks in favor of formally composed songs, Morrison wove soul, jazz, pop, and Irish folk into music about spiritual renewal found in nature, music, and romantic love — the lively R&B/rock style he'd become best known for. This Analogue Productions 45 RPM edition was mastered by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab from a flat 24/192 transfer of the original master tape, EQ'd through the lab's all-tube analog system. Ranked No. 120 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
