Founded in Raleigh, NC in 1994, Whiskeytown featured Caitlin Cary on fiddle and vocals, Phil Wandscher on guitar, Steve Grothmann on bass, Eric "Skillet" Gilmore on drums, and Ryan Adams on vocals and guitar. Faithless Street showcased the band's volatile spirit and Adams' sharp, emotional songwriting, helping to define the alt-country movement. This first pressing collects 21 songs — including five "Baseball Park Sessions" tracks on Side D — newly mastered by Levi Seitz at Black Belt Mastering.
