Animals Should Not Try to Act Like People is an EP by Primus, originally released in 2003. The title was inspired by a story book written by guitarist Larry LaLonde's son, and the cover features a sculpture by longtime Primus collaborator Lance "Link" Montoya. The EP marked the return of drummer Tim Alexander to the lineup and features five new songs, two of which Claypool says were written in the first 45 minutes of the reunited trio playing together.
