This is where it all starts. On their 1993 debut, Matt Freeman (bass) and Tim Armstrong (guitar/vocals) blast through 15 tracks of high-energy punk driven by heavy bass leads and Armstrong's signature slurred vocals, with lyrics rooted in urban blight and life as a public nuisance. The only Rancid album recorded as a trio, it set the trademark sound the band would carry forward.
