Roland Haynes - Second Wave - LP
$23.99
180 Gram Vinyl, Black Jazz Reissue
Released in 1975, Second Wave is keyboardist Roland Haynes' only album — and a one-of-a-kind jazz-fusion date. Anchored by Carl Burnett on drums and Henry "The Skipper" Franklin on bass, it features the cascading sound of dueling Fender Rhodes from Haynes and Kirk Lightsey, with no horns or guitars getting in the way of the keyboard jams. This Real Gone Music reissue is remastered by Mike Milchner at Sonic Vision and includes new liner notes by Pat Thomas — the first time the album has ever been reissued on vinyl.
