The American psychedelic rock band Sopwith Camel formed in late 1965 and is best known as the second San Francisco band to land a national recording contract and the first to score a Top 40 hit, with "Hello, Hello." The band released only two studio albums; this 1973 follow-up, The Miraculous Hump Returns from the Moon, came out on Reprise and features "Fazon," "Orange Peel" and "Coke, Suede and Waterbeds," taking in elements of prog-rock, jazz, showtunes, Krautrock and Indian classical music.
