Brand New Day is the sixth solo studio album by Sting, released in 1999. Fueled by the success of the single "Desert Rose," which features Algerian Rai singer Cheb Mami, the album peaked at #9 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 3.5 million copies in the United States. A critical and commercial triumph, it earned Sting a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for the title track. This pressing was cut at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.
