Paradise Theater satisfied both camps of writers within the band, pairing classic hard-rock tracks from Tommy Shaw and James Young with the pop sensibilities of Dennis DeYoung. Hits include "Too Much Time on My Hands," "The Best of Times," and "Rockin' the Paradise." One of the most successful arena-rock bands in the U.S. during the late '70s and early '80s, Styx ruled FM and AM airwaves for a decade.
