Issued as Live In Egypt Vol. I (Nature's God), this set documents Sun Ra and his Arkestra during their legendary December 1971 visit to Egypt. Recorded by Arkestra member Thomas "Bugs" Hunter, it draws on a live Cairo TV broadcast and an intimate concert held at the Heliopolis home of Goethe Institute ex-pat Hartmut Geerken, capturing the cosmic ensemble in raw, otherworldly form.
