One of the rarer albums in the Sun Ra canon, Ra To The Rescue first appeared in 1983 on the Saturn label, baffling listeners with its minimal info and wide-ranging sessions recorded at several locations (including NYC's avant-garde Squat Theater). It runs from Ra's sci-fi synthesizer flights and Marshall Allen's skronking sax to the Arkestra vocal feature "They Plan To Leave," and is reissued here for the first time on colored vinyl.
