In 1969 a little-known quintet from Baldwin Park, California caught the ear of English radio DJ "Lord" Tim Hudson, then managing The Seeds and Lollipop Shoppe. Impressed by their sound, Hudson secured them a deal — and the record that followed has been a collector's item ever since.
