When the band agreed to deliver a hits album for Fiction Records, Robert Smith chose the tracks himself and, to offer something new to longtime fans, arranged for the group (with former member Boris Williams) to cut acoustic takes of the lot — including "Just Like Heaven," "Friday I'm in Love," "Close to Me," and "Boys Don't Cry."
