The Doors - Infinite - SACD Box Set
Hybrid Multichannel SACD, 6-Disc Box Set, Limited to 2,500 Numbered Copies
Analogue Productions and Acoustic Sounds present The Doors' six Morrison-era studio albums, all on Hybrid Multichannel SACD, in a special numbered box set limited to 2,500 copies. Every title has been remastered from the original sources by Doug Sax and The Doors' original engineer Bruce Botnick. The surround program derives from the original 96K/24-bit files Botnick mixed for the Doors/Perception release, up-sampled to DSD and authored at the Super Audio Center — a chronicle of The Doors in the studio captured with the highest sonic quality possible.
Please note: Waiting For The Sun and the song "Love Her Madly" from L.A. Woman are presented in 5.0 (not 5.1) surround, as those mixes contain no discrete subwoofer content. The self-titled debut was a 4-track recording, so its surround channels are intended as room ambiance.
