The Doors' self-titled 1967 debut arrives in audiophile form from Analogue Productions. Mastered by Doug Sax using an all-tube system and overseen by the band's original producer/engineer Bruce Botnick, this edition spreads the album across two 180-gram LPs cut at 45 RPM. In the interest of historical accuracy, it was cut without the speed and pitch correction applied to some later versions, preserving the record exactly as originally issued.
