Hear It Is is The Flaming Lips' debut full-length, released on Restless Records in 1986. It marks Wayne Coyne's debut on lead vocals following the departure of his brother Mark. The Oklahoma City band would go on to sign with Warner Bros. and release landmarks like The Soft Bulletin (1999) and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (2002), winning multiple Grammy Awards along the way.
