Recorded live at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on February 19, 1971, Three From The Vault marks the worldwide vinyl debut of this seminal show, featuring the five-piece lineup of Pigpen, Garcia, Weir, Lesh and Kreutzmann. Unlike the soundboard-sourced Dick's Picks series, the From The Vault releases were professionally recorded on multi-track tape and mixed down for release — here freshly remastered by Joe Gastwirt. Twenty classic songs are spread across eight sides, housed in a gatefold Stoughton "tip-on" jacket.
