Released in 2008, The Bedlam in Goliath is the third studio album by The Mars Volta. Conceived around the band's unsettling experiences with a Ouija board, it's a dense, frenetic blend of prog, jazz, Latin, and funk fronted by Cedric Bixler-Zavala and guitarist/producer Omar Rodríguez-López. It spawned the single "Wax Simulacra," which won the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.
