Released in 2002, Tremulant was The Mars Volta's debut EP and the first statement of Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala's new band after At The Drive-In. Across three tracks and roughly nineteen minutes, it sketches the limitless horizon of everything that would follow — an adventurous, confounding and brilliant introduction, and the group's only release with original bassist Eva Gardner.
