Originally released in 1967, Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. was the first Monkees album recorded largely as a self-contained band, blending sunshine pop, country-rock and psychedelia. It's home to the Goffin/King smash "Pleasant Valley Sunday" along with "Words," "Daily Nightly" (an early showcase for the Moog synthesizer) and "Cuddly Toy." This 2022 Rhino reissue restores the original Colgems artwork and label design on limited indie-exclusive translucent green vinyl.
