40th Anniversary Half-Speed Master, 180 Gram Vinyl — 2x12" at 45rpm with Bonus 7"
The Specials are one of the defining bands of the late '70s/early '80s ska revival, alongside Jerry Dammers' iconic Two Tone label. Released in October 1980, their second album More Specials followed their UK number one live single "Too Much Too Young" and pushed the band's sound into lounge, easy-listening and experimental territory. This 40th Anniversary edition has been mastered and cut at half-speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios from the original production tapes, spread across two 12" records running at 45rpm for optimum audio quality, with a bonus 7" single also cut at half-speed.
