Cloud Nine, the ninth studio album by The Temptations, was released in 1969 on Motown and marked a major turning point for the group. It was their first full-length to feature Dennis Edwards in place of David Ruffin and the start of their psychedelic-soul era under producer Norman Whitfield. The album rose to #4 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart and earned The Temptations their first Grammy® Award.
