Limited 180 Gram Clear Vinyl, First Vinyl Reissue
The Vapors were an English new wave band active between 1978 and 1981, spotted and managed by the Jam's Bruce Foxton alongside John Weller (father of Paul Weller). They rose to prominence with their debut New Clear Days and the international hit "Turning Japanese." Their 1981 second album Magnets digs deeper into power-pop while exploring political and societal themes, highlighted by the singles "Jimmie Jones" and "Spiders." The cover was designed by Martin Handford, who later found fame with his "Where's Wally?" books.
