Loaded is the fourth studio album by The Velvet Underground, released in 1970 on Atlantic's Cotillion subsidiary. It was the final album recorded with Lou Reed, who left the band shortly before its release, and it features two of the group's most beloved songs, "Sweet Jane" and "Rock and Roll." In 2003 it was ranked #109 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
