"Different Game" is the long-awaited follow-up to The Zombies' acclaimed 2015 album "Still Got That Hunger." Begun in 2019 shortly after their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction and delayed by the pandemic, the band insisted on recording together to capture a live performance, just as they did in the 1960s. The result keeps the vintage qualities that made them stand out while still sounding modern. Nine of the ten songs were written by Rod Argent, with closer "The Sun Will Rise Again" by Colin Blunstone; Argent produced the album, which features a small string ensemble on three tracks.
