Since forming in 2014, New York trio Thick have turned hard truths into exhilarating punk songs. On their second album Happy Now, vocalist/guitarist Nikki Sisti, bassist Kate Black, and drummer Shari Page deliver their most confessional work yet, tackling self-sabotage, insecurity, and destructive relationships with raw, irreverent honesty. Working again with producer Joel Hamilton at Studio G Brooklyn, the 11-track set sharpens their arrangements and hooks, often powered by the sheer force of their three voices in unison.
