Echo is the tenth studio album by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, released in 1999, where it reached #10 on the Billboard 200 on the strength of the singles "Free Girl Now," "Swingin'," and "Room at the Top." It was the band's final collaboration with producer Rick Rubin and the last to feature longtime bassist and vocalist Howie Epstein. Notably, it includes the only Heartbreakers lead vocal by another band member: Mike Campbell on "I Don't Wanna Fight."
