Tommy Flanagan - Overseas (Mono) - Analogue Productions LP
$39.99
180 Gram Mono LP, Cut from the Analogue Masters by Kevin Gray
Recorded in Stockholm in August 1957 while Tommy Flanagan was touring with J.J. Johnson's quintet, Overseas was the pianist's first date as a leader. Backed by bassist Wilbur Little and drummer Elvin Jones, the "Jazz Poet" delivers the supple lines, rhythmic snap and great taste in tunes that would define his career. This Analogue Productions reissue is cut from the original analog masters by Kevin Gray and pressed at Quality Record Pressings.
