Zooropa is U2's eighth studio album, originally released in 1993 and born out of the band's experiences on the Zoo TV Tour. Produced by Flood, Brian Eno and The Edge, it expands on the tour's themes of technology and media overload, continuing the experimental, electronic direction begun on Achtung Baby. Begun as a tour EP, it grew into a full-length album.
