Ultra Q is the project led by Jakob Armstrong, who began playing guitar at age 7 and honed his craft privately before forming the band with friends who shared his tastes in music and Ultraman action figures. Produced by Chris Coady (TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beach House), My Guardian Angel offers a deep sonic palette that ranges between pop-punk and synth-pop, showcasing Armstrong's songwriting alongside the musicianship of Kevin Judd and brothers Chris and Enzo Malaspina.
