In the wake of Whitesnake's massive global success, founder and frontman David Coverdale set out in 1995 to record a solo album, only for record-label pressure to reshape it into Restless Heart under the David Coverdale & Whitesnake banner. A UK Top 40 hit on its 1997 release, the album was never originally issued in the US. This 25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition presents a newly remixed version on 180-gram silver vinyl, closer to the sound Coverdale first intended.
