Witch Camp (Ghana) - I've Forgotten Now Who I Used To Be - LP
$18.99
Vinyl LP, Produced by Grammy-Winner Ian Brennan
Grammy-winning producer Ian Brennan (Zomba Prison Project, Tinariwen) and Italian-Rwandan filmmaker Marilena Delli travelled to rural northern Ghana to seek out the voices of those persecuted for alleged "witchcraft." The resulting album was recorded across three clandestine villages housing accused women for their own protection. All but one of the singers had never played music or written songs before.
