Skylarking is XTC's lush 1986 song-cycle, produced by Todd Rundgren and unfolding like a single English summer's day. This edition was newly mastered by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering from tapes approved by Andy Partridge, correcting a long-standing polarity error in the original masters to restore punch and presence to the recording. For the first time the full 15-song album - complete with the hit "Dear God" - is presented on a single LP at 33 1/3 RPM, pressed on superior 200 gram vinyl with a lyric sheet included.
