In exchange for Dario Argento's help on Dawn of the Dead, George A. Romero allowed Argento to release a different, more explicit cut of the film in Europe under the title Zombi. Rather than the library music Romero used, Argento enlisted Goblin to record a new score, and the result is brilliant: menacing, thrilling, and perfectly suited to the movie, complete with a sleazy lounge-esque turn. A reissue of the original soundtrack to Romero's 1978 horror masterpiece, pressed on white vinyl.
