Emerald City Nights: Live At The Penthouse (1963-1964) gathers previously unreleased recordings of pianist Ahmad Jamal captured live at the famed Seattle jazz club. The deluxe 2LP set features Jamal's trios with bassists Richard Evans and Jamil Nasser and drummer Chuck Lampkin, with audio transferred from the original tape reels and mastered by Bernie Grundman. It includes an extensive booklet with rare photos and interviews, marking one of the first releases from "Jazz Detective" Zev Feldman's Deep Digs Music Group in partnership with Elemental Music.
