On Air is the second solo album by Alan Parsons, recorded after the dissolution of The Alan Parsons Project. With longtime Project guitarist Ian Bairnson as a key creative force, it is a concept record tracing the history of airborne exploration — from the myth of Daedalus and Icarus through the space race. Guest vocalists include Eric Stewart (10cc), Christopher Cross and Neil Lockwood, with orchestration by Andrew Powell and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. This Music On Vinyl edition is a double 180-gram pressing housed in a gatefold jacket.
