After a thirty-eight-year hiatus, the rejuvenated Altered Images return with their first new music since 1983's Bite. Mascara Streakz is an upbeat, contemporary album that feels like a natural progression of the band's sound, topped with the instantly recognizable vocals of Clare Grogan. Produced by former member Stephen Lironi, its twelve songs were co-written by Grogan with Lironi, Bernard Butler and Bobby Bluebell.
