The 2009 third album from Sheffield's Arctic Monkeys, Humbug finds the band brimming with new ideas. They brought in Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age to produce tracks at his Joshua Tree studio, then rejoined James Ford in Brooklyn to finish the record. The result is a stunning, heavier and more lush set of songs that still carries the Monkeys' usual punch and vitality.
