It plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and features a redesigned tonearm base and headshell to improve tracking and reduce resonance, an Integral Dual Magnet phono cartridge with replaceable diamond stylus, and a built-in switchable phono/line preamp so it connects to powered speakers or receivers with or without a phono input. An external AC adapter keeps power conversion away from the chassis, further minimizing noise in the signal chain.
