The AT-VM95ML is built on Audio-Technica's VM dual magnet design, which positions two magnets in a V shape to match the left and right channels cut into the record groove, delivering excellent channel separation and low distortion for outstanding tonal quality. The durable, low-resonance housing includes threaded inserts, so the cartridge mounts to any half-inch headshell with just two screws — no nuts required.

What sets the VM95ML apart is its 2.2 x 0.12 mil MicroLinear stylus with nude square-shank construction on an aluminum pipe cantilever. The MicroLinear tip traces the groove more accurately than the conical and elliptical styli found lower in the VM95 range, retrieving high-frequency detail while reducing distortion and record wear. And because every VM95 body accepts any AT-VMN95 replacement stylus, you can move up or down the series without ever re-mounting a cartridge.
