Bill Evans - Bill Evans Trio With Symphony Orchestra - LP
$35.99
Vinyl Reissue, 2LP
For this 1965 album (released by Verve in February 1966), Bill Evans and his trio — bassist Chuck Israels and drummer Larry Bunker — meet a 48-piece symphony orchestra conducted and arranged by Claus Ogerman. The program features compositions by Granados, Bach, Scriabin, Fauré, and Chopin alongside works by Evans and Ogerman. The results are simply beautiful.
