Highway 61 Revisited is Bob Dylan's sixth studio album, originally released in August 1965 by Columbia Records. Having previously recorded mostly acoustic music, Dylan backed nearly every track with a rock band, the lone exception being the 11-minute closing ballad "Desolation Row." Opening with "Like a Rolling Stone," it stands as one of the most influential records in rock history.
