Bowery Electric's 1996 second album on double vinyl, with the bonus track "Low Density."

Released less than 15 months after their self-titled debut, Beat found the New York group pushing the guitar/bass/drums/vocal setup into the atmosphere: distorted guitars turned to hazy sheets, live drums gave way to sampled rhythms indebted to the downtempo sound of the day, and vocals sank into the fog of the instruments. A lush, dense mantra of shadowy percussion and immersive drones. Includes "Low Density," not featured on the original U.S. release.
