The sultry, noir-inflected follow-up to Cuntry Covers Vol. 1, this EP finds Bria Salmena (of FRIGS and Orville Peck's backing band) and multi-instrumentalist Duncan Hay Jennings reimagining a hand-picked set of country and Americana songs. Recorded in their tiny Toronto home studio, Vol. 2 pushes further into experimentation, with feverish takes on songs by Gillian Welch, Paula Cole, Mary Margaret O'Hara, Glen Campbell and Loretta Lynn. Bria's deliciously dark delivery shimmers across these six startling reinterpretations.
