Founded in 1968 by Irmin Schmidt, Holger Czukay, Michael Karoli and Jaki Liebezeit, Can transcended the boundaries of ethnic, electronic, experimental and modern classical music. Future Days (1973) was Damo Suzuki's last album as vocalist — just four tracks, but including the astonishing 20-minute "Bel Air" and the three-minute pop masterpiece "Moonshake." This epic encapsulates everything great about Can, a band whose influence still echoes across artists from Radiohead and New Order to Public Image Ltd and beyond.
